Peacefully after a long illness bravely borne. In the wonderful care of the Staff of Ardeen Nursing Home, Thurles. Predeceased by his parents Larry and Jane, brothers Paddy, Larry, Jack and Billy sisters Peggy, Mary and infant Kitty, Deeply regretted by his loving family; wife Josie (née Tierney, Blakefield, Gortagarry Toomevara), daughters Mary-D (Ryan) and Geraldine (Hassett), sons Liam, Declan and Adrian, adored grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sons-in-law Tom and William, daughters-in-law Maria, Martina and Fiona, nephews, nieces, sisters-in-law Jane, Bridget, Pam, Chris, Eileen and Breda, brother-in-law Jim, relatives, former colleagues in Thurles Sugar Factory and the Cathedral Choir, good neighbours and many friends.

Reposing in Hugh Ryan's Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles on Friday, 2nd February, from 5pm to 7pm. Arriving at the Cathedral of the Assumption, Thurles on Saturday, 3rd February, at 10.30am for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St Patrick's Cemetery, Thurles.
