It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of,

Martin Galvin,

late of Woodcourt House, Portlaw, Co. Waterford

 

Martin, passed peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family, on November 10th, 2025.

 

Martin is predeceased by his beloved daughter Margaret Ann, who passed away earlier this year.

 

Deeply mourned by his beloved wife, Esther, his adoring children, Richard, Sharon, Vicki and Derek.

 

Martin will be lovingly remembered by his brother Paddy, his daughter-in-law Sheila, sons-in-law Brian and Kelly, grandchildren Dean, Orla, Rachel, Olivia, Paul, Sam, Lucy, Charlie, Lily and Conor, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends & neighbours.

 

Reposing at his residence, Woodcourt House, Portlaw, Co. Waterford (X91 XD83), on Wednesday November 12th from 2pm to 5pm.

(House private at all other times.)

 

Requiem Mass at 12 noon on Thursday November 13th in St. Patrick’s Church, Portlaw, followed by private Cremation at the Island Crematorium, Rocky Island, Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork.
