Martin HESSION

Martin of Kilbeg, Claremorris Co. Mayo and late of St. Colman’s College, died peacefully at The Mayo Hospice in his 91st year.

Martin will be sadly missed by his loving wife Ena (née O'Dwyer), his daughters Mary O’Donovan, (Ballymoe) Anne (Dublin) Catriona McNally, (Islandeady) Helena (Malaysia), grandchildren Grace, Sarah Kate, Isabelle, Jim, Arwen, Seán, Cian, Niamh & Dylan, Sons-in-law James, Cathal (O’Connell) Ger and Columba, sister & brothers, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

May his gentle soul Rest in Peace.

Martins’ remains will repose at Gilligan’s Funeral Home (Walk through only no handshaking please by request) Market Square, Claremorris (F12YP74) from 6p.m on Saturday (29th October). With removal at 8p.m. to St. Colman’s Church, Claremorris. Funeral Mass on Sunday (30th October) at 1pm., with burial afterwards in St. Colman’s Cemetery.
