Predeceased by his beloved parents Bernie and Joe.
In the early hours of Monday morning, 15 January, 2024, Martin died suddenly at Galway University Hospital following great efforts by the emergency service teams and nurses at GUH, with his heartbroken and dearly loved family by his side.
A greatly loved husband and father, family man, teacher, coach and friend who is deeply mourned by his wife Caroline and children Kevin, Aisling and Cian, by his sister Mary and brothers Gerard and Ollie, by their families, his uncle Jackie and aunts Mary and Peggy, his godchildren Conor and Gearoid, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Brian, Sean, Colm, Anita, Kit, Jacqueline, Marion and Sharon. Sadly missed by all the extended Horgan and Finnegan family and many friends.
Martin will repose at the Pastoral Centre within St. Joseph’s Church, Maree, Oranmore (H91KOY9) on Thursday, 18 January from 4 p.m. to 7.30 p.m. Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Friday, 19 January at 11 a.m. and recorded (Link Here) Following Mass he will be laid to rest in Rinville cemetery.
