The death has occurred of
Martin Hughes
Martin Hughes (Friary Court, Dublin 7 and late of Dominick Street, Dublin 1) passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on 2nd March 2026 at The Mater Hospital. Predeceased by his beloved wife Sue Geraghty, his parents Annie & Frank Hughes, his brothers Frank & Tucker and his sisters May & Rosie.
He will be sadly missed by his beloved daughter Lisa, grandchildren Karl, Conor, Sarah-Sue and Saoirse, great-grandson Brayden, brother Peter, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at his daughter’s home Thursday 5pm to 8pm. Martin’s Funeral Mass will take place on Friday morning at 10am in St. Saviour’s Church, Dominick Street followed by burial at Glasnevin Cemetery.
