Martin Hughes

The death has occurred of Martin Hughes, Bullaun, Shrule, Co. Mayo. Peacefully, in the wonderful care of the nurses and staff of Mayo Hospice, on the 30th of November 2023, following a short illness, surrounded by his beloved family. Deeply missed by his loving wife Colette (nee Grimes), his mother Mary, mother-in-law Ann, brothers Noel, Paul, Colm, Brendan and his sister Lorraine, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, uncles and aunts, relatives and a wide circle of friends and neighbours. Martin is predeceased by his father Patrick and his sister Angela.

Reposing at Cradock’s Funeral Home, Shrule, on Saturday the 2nd of December 2023, from 4:00pm to 7pm with a private removal from his home on Sunday, the 3rd of December 2023, to arrive at St Joseph’s Church, Shrule for Funeral Mass at 1pm and burial afterwards in Shrule Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to Mayo/Roscommon Hospice.
