Martin Jones

The death has occurred of Martin Jones – Dalton Park, Mullingar, Co Westmeath - March 3rd, 2026 (peacefully) following an illness borne with great courage and dignity, with his loving family by his side and in the tender care of the staff at Medical 1 at the Midland Regional Hospital, Mullingar and previously at the Midland Regional Hospital Tullamore.

Predeceased by his beloved father Michael (Mick).

Martin will be very sadly missed and always remembered by his loving and heartbroken family, his mother Pat, his dear brothers and sisters Michael, Frank, Shirley, Yvonne and Lorraine, and his loving fiancée Cheryl. Also sadly missed by his adored nieces and nephews, brother-in-law Damien, sister-in-law Trish, aunts and uncles, extended family, his large circle of friends and his faithful companion Max.

MAY MARTIN’S GENTLE SOUL REST IN PEACE

Reposing at Gilsenan’s Funeral Home (N91 K660) on Thursday March 5th from 4.30 pm concluding at 6.30 pm and followed by Removal to St Paul’s Church, Delvin Road, arriving at 7 pm.

Martin’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday March 6th at 11 am followed by burial in Ballyglass Cemetery. The Mass may be viewed live on the link below (St Paul's Church)
