The death has occurred of
Martin Joseph Heneghan
Martin Joseph Heneghan, Doolough, Geesala, Co. Mayo and formerly of Leeds, Cork and Birmingham who died peacefully in his 94th Year, surrounded by his family at the City Hospital, Birmingham on 18th December 2023.
Predeceased by his loving wife Marie. Beloved father of Rosaleen and Patricia, he will be sadly missed by his heartbroken family, adored grandchildren Timothy and Georgina, sons in law John and Paul, sister Kay (Dublin), brother Seoirse (Australia), sisters in law Mary, Sadie and Freda, nieces, nephews, relatives, kind neighbours and many friends.
May His Kind and Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.
Remains reposing in McDonnell’s Funeral Home on Sunday from 3 O’Clock until 4.30 with the funeral arriving at St. Colmcill’s Church, Geesala at 6 O’Clock. Funeral Mass on Monday at 12 noon followed by burial in Geesala Cemetery.
Live streaming of the funeral will be available for viewing on McDonnell Funeral Directors Facebook page on Monday at 12 noon with all other funeral services available for viewing on Monday evening at 8 O’Clock.
