Martin Joseph McDermott

The death has occurred of Martin Joseph McDermott (fondly known as Mattie Joe) Carheens, Cross.

 

Peacefully at his residence surrounded by his loved ones. Predeceased by his parents John & Margaret, brother John (Castlebar) Sister Maureen Carr (Ballyfruit).

 

Mattie Joe will be deeply missed by his brothers Gerry (Cross), Paddy (Caherlistrane) his sisters Nora Duignan (Claregalway), Una Reilly (Westport), Teresa (London), brothers in law, sisters in law. Deeply missed my his heartbroken nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grand nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at his residence (F12 NP20) from 6pm to 8pm Sunday 4th May. Funeral cortege will arrive at The Sacred Heart Church, Cross on Monday 5th May at 11am for Requiem Mass at 11:30am with the funeral proceeding to Cross East Cemetery.
