The death has occurred of Martin Kiernan.

Lakeview House, Carrigallen, Co. Leitrim and formerly of Keeldrabeg, Aughavas, on Friday, 6th February 2026 at Lough Erril Private Nursing Home, Mohill, Co. Leitrim.

Predeceased by his first wife, Anna Harte, his sisters Kathleen, Eleanor and brothers Seán and Joseph.

Martin will be sadly missed by his beloved wife Evelyn (née Coffey) and son Joseph, daughter-in-law Joy and cherished grandson Martin, the extended Kiernan family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Martin will repose at Lough Erril Nursing Home on Monday 9th February from 5.00pm until 7pm

Remains will arrive at St. Joseph’s Church, Aughavas on Tuesday morning for funeral Mass at 12.00 midday followed by burial in Aughavas cemetery.
