Unexpectedly but peacefully on 29th March 2026 at St. Vincent’s Hospital, with family and friends by his side. Beloved husband and best friend of Joan (Doran). He will be sadly missed by his sorrowing wife, brother John, sisters Barbara-Ann and Jacintha, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many dear friends.

May he rest in peace.

Reposing at Sweeney’s Funeral Home from 5pm to 7pm on Wednesday. Removal on Thursday morning at 9.30 to St.’s Mary & Peter’s Church arriving for Prayer Service at 10 o’clock. Those who cannot attend are welcome to join via webcam;

Funeral afterwards to Mount Jerome Crematorium, walking to The Nineteen Arches Bridge. Martin’s committal service will be held at 12.45pm in The Garden Chapel and this too can be viewed via webcam;
