The death has occurred of
Martin Lydon
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Martin Lydon, Knockferry, Rosscahill, Co. Galway, on February 1st, 2026.
Martin is predeceased by his parents James and Mary Lydon, siblings Maura, Nora, Dan, Paddy, Mick, Peg, Kitty and Jimmy.
Martin will be deeply missed by his sister Eileen, brother Sean, sisters in-law Mary, Nora and Mary, brother in-law Padraic, extended family of nieces and nephews, neighbours and good friends especially his great friend Thomas Carter.

Reposing on Tuesday 3rd February, 2026, in Aiseirí Funeral Home, Moycullen (H91Y54A) from 5pm with removal at 6.30pm to the Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Killannin (H91R883). Requiem Mass at 12 noon on the 4th of February, 2026. Followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
