Martin (Matt) Grier

Matt died suddenly but peacefully in the care of The Mayo Hospice Castlebar after a long battle with illness. Predeceased by his parents James and Mary (Coleman) brother Harry and sister Martha Monaghan, R.I.P. Matt will be deeply regretted by his loving wife Mary (nee Carney) his sons Seamus, Fergal and Peter, daughters Ann Duggan and Majella Cahill, daughter-in-law Jolene and Seamus’s partner Serena, sons-in-law Richard and Brendan and his loving grandchildren Emily, Niall, James, Niamh, Aiden, Grace and David, his brother Joe, sisters Breege Hession and Maureen Noonan (Dublin), brother-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, neighbours, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Gilligan’s Funeral Home, Market Square, Claremorris on Saturday evening (18th May) from 6p.m to 8p.m. Remains will arrive to The Church of The Sacred Heart, Crossboyne for funeral Mass at 1p.m. on Sunday (19th May) with burial afterwards in Crossboyne Cemetery.
