Martin (Mattie) Corless

Mattie passed away peacefully surrounded by his family. Pre-deceased by his loving wife Peg, he will be sadly missed by his loving daughters Marguerite and Aisling, sons Martin, Enda, Colm, Kenneth and Brendan, daughters-in-law Bríd, Ethna, Áine, Mary and Angela, son-in-law TJ and Tom, grandchildren, brothers Miko and Peter, nieces and nephews, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Mattie will be remembered as a gentleman, who lived his life with courage, dignity and humility.

May he rest in peace

At the wishes of his family the home will be private please.

Requiem Mass will take place in St. Kieran’s Church, Doorus, Kinvara on Tuesday the 18th of January at 12:30pm, which may be viewed on Ballindereen and Kinvara Parishes Facebook page. Funeral will take place afterwards to Doorus Cemetery.

Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu to Galway Hospice at The Galway Hospice
