Martin died peacefully in Mullingar Regional Hospital on 23rd March 2026.

 

Martin will be forever remembered by all who loved him dearly, his partner Stela and her children Teodora and Radu, his siblings Ute, Jutta and Holger, his brothers-in-law Hans-Jurgen and Werner, his nieces and nephews, relatives, his many friends in Germany and here in Ireland, especially Fergus, Anne Marie and Charlie.

Reposing in Connell's Funeral Home, Church St, Longford on Thursday 26th from 6 o'clock until 7 o'clock.

Funeral Service on Friday 27th at 11 o’clock in St. John's Church of Ireland, Battery Rd, Longford. Following Service Martin will be laid to rest in the adjoining Churchyard.
