Martin McDonnell

McDonnell Martin, (Griffith Avenue) – February 27th, 2026 – unexpectedly at Beaumont Hospital; beloved husband of Mona, loving father of Barry, James, Claire and Máire and cherished grandad to Ava, Finn, Shay, Marcus, Molly, Archie, Oliver, Alec, Beckett, Alba, Mick and Adriana.

 

Sadly missed by his loving family, sons-in-law Eduardo and Joseph, daughter-in-law Alison, brothers and sisters Mary, Betty, Tommy, Paddy, Noel and John, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends. Predeceased by his parents Alice and Jim and brother Shay.

 

 

Martin will be reposing at the Fanagan Kirwan Funeral Home, Fairview Strand on Thursday (March 5th) from 5pm to 7pm, with family in attendance. Removal to the Church of the Visitation of the BVM, Fairview on Friday (March 6th) for 10am Requiem Mass followed by Cremation at Glasnevin Crematorium.
