Martin Merchant

Martin Merchant Woodside Park Castletown Geoghegan Co. Westmeath and formerly Hightown Coralstown Co. Westmeath. Peacefully (suddenly) on the 18th July, 2024 at his home with his family.

Predeceased by his parents John and Mary, his brothers James, John and Vincent.

Deeply regretted by his heartbroken wife and best friend Martina, son Keith, sisters Liz, Mary and Kathleen, brother Christopher, nephews, nieces, mother-in-law Mary Bolger, Keiths’ partner Sinead, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, cousins, extended family, great neighbours, and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at the Funeral home mortuary at the Midland Regional Hospital Mullingar tomorrow (Sun) from 6.30pm – 8pm. Arriving for Funeral Mass on Monday at 2pm in St. Michael's Church, Castletown Geoghegan. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

Martins’ family would like to thank all the doctors, nurses and carers of Midland Regional Hospital Mullingar, also Dr. R. Cartlidge-Eighan and staff Health Centre Castletown Geoghegan, for their great care shown to Martin, also the great neighbours and friends for their kindness and support during this sad time.
