It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Martin Moriarty of Boherboy, Gortatlea and formerly Garryruth and Spa Road, Tralee, Co. Kerry.

 

Martin died peacefully on Thursday June 26th, 2025, surrounded by his loving family, in the wonderful care of the staff of The Palliative Care Unit, UHK.

 

Martin will be sadly missed by his cherished wife Mary and his beloved children Pauline, Fiona, Deirdre, Martin, Alan, Robert, Ronan and Steven, their mother Bridget Moriarty (nee Harmon), sisters Mary, Annette and Margaret, brother-in-law Dan Hurley, sisters-in-law Eileen and Margaret, his many grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and large circle of friends. Martin is pre-deceased by his parents Martin and Mai, sister Philomena, brothers Patrick, Jeremiah, Jo Jo, John and Brendan.

 

Rest in Peace.

 

Reposing at his residence in Boherboy, Gortatlea, Tralee (V92 NP5P), on Sunday (June 29th) from 5.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m. House strictly private please at all other times. Funeral arriving to St. John’s Church, Tralee on Monday morning at 9.30 a.m. where the Requiem Mass for Martin will be celebrated at 10.00 a.m. (streamed on www.stjohns.ie). Followed by Private Cremation.
