Martin Murray

Martin passed away peacefully in the wonderful care of the team at Galway Hospice. Treasured son of Michael and Marie, and adored younger brother of Carol and Michael.

He will be sadly missed by his immediate family and by his uncles and aunts, in particular his Godmother Auntie Kathleen, his many cousins and by his friends and fellow musicians both here in Ireland and around the world – especially St Patrick's Brass Band.

Reposing at the O’ Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue, Galway (H91 V1K8) on Tuesday, 25 June, from 4.30 p.m. Removal at 6.30 p.m. to St Joseph’s Church, Presentation Road. Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Martin at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, 26 June. Live streaming link for Mass is available below however this Mass will not be recorded. Private cremation to follow.
