Martin O'SHAUGHNESSY

Martin O'SHAUGHNESSY, Parsonstown, Mullingar (formerly of Crookedwood and Houndswood, Cross, Co. Mayo) March 22, 2023 (peacefully) at the Midland Regional Hospital, Tullamore, surrounded by his devoted family. Recently pre-deceased by his adored wife Bridie and his sisters Margaret, Bridgie and Judy, also pre-deceased by his son John and daughter-in-law Colette. Dearly loved father of Joe and Paul, Martin will be forever loved and deeply missed by his sons, daughters-in-law Josephine and Danuta, granddaughter Louise, grandsons Robert, Mark, Gary and Daniel, great-grandchildren Luke and Summer, his sister Maureen, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Shaws Funeral Home, Bishopsgate Street, Mullingar on Thursday, March 23, from 4.00 o'c. until 6.00 o'c. concluding with prayers.

Funeral cortége will arrive on Friday morning at Taghmon Church for 11.00 o'c. Mass,  followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

The family wish to express their heartfelt gratitude to all the doctors, nurses and staff who cared for Martin in Tullamore Hospital and The Beacon Hospital, Dublin.
