Martin O'Brien
O’BRIEN (Cork) On 13th February 2024, peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family, MARTIN, Church Avenue, Off Roman Street and late of Cork City Council. Dearly beloved husband and best friend of Mary (nee Marshall) and much loved father of Tim and Elaine, devoted granda of Kyle, Ava, Leah and Faye, loving son of the late Michael and Margaret and brother of the late Michael and Marian.
Sadly missed by his heartbroken wife, family, brothers, sisters, daughter-in-law Claire, son-in-law Gary, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, goddaughter Laura, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Coughlan’s Funeral Home, Shandon Street on Wednesday (14th February) at 10.00am, family in attendance from 7.15pm with Rosary at 8.15pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday (15th February) at 12 noon in the North Cathedral. If you wish to view the Mass, click on http://www.corkcathedral.ie and follow link. Funeral afterwards to The Island Crematorium, Rocky Island, Ringaskiddy. No flowers by request. Donations, if desired, to Marymount Hospice.
