Martin O'Shaughnessy

Martin O’Shaughnessy, Renmore, Galway, Glasnevin, Dublin and formerly of Lackaghmore, Turloughmore, Co Galway;

20th March 2025, peacefully at Galway Hospice surrounded by his loving family.

Sadly missed by his sister Margaret Mary Forde (Lisheenavalla), brothers JP (Lackaghmore), Raymond (Limerick) and Noel (Renmore), niece Louise, brother-in-law Frank, sisters-in-law Una, Marie and Breege, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, and a large circle of relatives, neighbours and friends.

Predeceased by his parents Jackie & Agnes, sister Norita and nephew Declan.

May his gentle soul rest in peace.

Reposing at Our Lady’s Chapel, Lackagh (H65N129) on Monday evening, 24th March from 5 pm with removal to the Church of Our Lady of Knock, Lackagh at 7 pm. Funeral Mass in the Church of Our Lady of Knock, Lackagh (H65N129) on Tuesday at 11.30 am with burial afterwards in Lackagh New Cemetery.

Mass will be live-streamed on Lackagh Church Live YouTube Channel and also broadcast on parish radio, 106.9 FM.
