Martin O'Shea

The death has taken place of Martin O'Shea, Balleen, Gathabawn, Co. Kilkenny.

Martin died peacefully surrounded by his loving family in St. Lukes Hospital Kilkenny on Wednesday 15th April 2026.

Pre-deceased by his parents Annie and Richard, his wife Bridget (Gittens) and brothers Michael and James.

Deeply regretted by his daughter Margaret (Swan), grandchildren Layla and Isabelle, sister Mary (Foley), brother Sonny, son-in-law Paul, his brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, neighbours, relatives and friends.

Rest in Peace

Reposing at Kennedy's Funeral Home, Freshford, R95 C44T, on Friday 17th April from 5pm, pausing for Prayers at 6.45pm. Funeral Mass in St. Munchin's Church, Gathabawn, E41 AV63, on Saturday 18th April at 11am followed by burial in St. Lachtain's Cemetery.
