Martin Phillip (Phil) CANTWELL

The death has occurred of Martin Phillip (Phil) Cantwell, Patrick St, Trim, Co Meath (formerly of Castlecomer, Co. Kilkenny). Phil passed away peacefully on 22 May 2025, in the wonderful care of the staff of The Sycamore Unit, Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown surrounded by his loving wife and family. Pre-deceased by his brothers Pat (Carlow) and Brendan (Mullingar).

Beloved husband of Brid (née Quinlan) and much loved father of Vincent, Olivia, Carol, Marina and Philippa. Sadly missed by his sisters-in law Mary and Maureen; daughter-in-law Blathnaid; sons-in-law Bern, Gene, Martin; his adored grandchildren, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Heffernans Funeral Home, High St, Trim (C15 HDT1) on Saturday 24 May from 4pm until 7pm. Additional parking via Haggard St public car park. Funeral Mass 1.45pm Sunday 25 May St Patrick's Catholic Church (C15 NC59). Phil’s funeral cortege will leave his home 1.30pm proceeding on foot to St Patrick’s Church. Burial after Mass at nearby St Loman's Cemetery, Trim.
