Martin RAFFERTY

Peacefully at home on November 10th, 2021, in the presence of his loved and loving family.  Beloved and devoted husband of 60 years of the late Betty and adored father of Jim, Kevin, Martin, Paul and David.  Martin will joyously be remembered by his sons, caring daughters-in-law Jennifer, Helen, Louise and Emma and cherished grandchildren Victoria, James and Andrew (their mother Elizabeth), Thomas, Lily, Maeve, Emer, Róisín, Ellen, Conor and Dylan.  Martin will be sadly missed by his brother Fr Jim Rafferty C.M., sister-in-law Beth Rafferty (San Diego), brother-in-law Paddy Shortall, nieces, nephews and dear friends.  Predeceased by his loving brothers Fr. Kevin and Malachy and sisters Mary (Shortall) and Margaret (Ivers).  A special thank you to Vera, Christy, Philip, Manuela and Billy. 

Martin’s final journey home to God will take place on Friday (12th November)  at 11.00 am in St. Joseph’s Church, Glasthule followed by burial in Kilternan Cemetery Park.  The funeral may be viewed using the following link: https://Livestream.absentfriends.ie/MartinRafferty.
