Martin Shannon

Martin Shannon, College Park, Longford and formerly of Kiltimagh, Co.Mayo. Peacefully at home surrounded by his family on 17th December 2025. Pre-deceased by his parents, sisters, brothers, granddaughter Sophie, grandson Alan and by other extended family members. Martin will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his family, beloved wife Betty, daughter Audrey Sheridan, sons David, Derek, Ian and Patrick, sisters Cora (U.S.A.) and Regina (U.S.A.), daughters-in-law Maria, Lesley-ann and Sarah, son-in-law Michael, grandchildren Hillary, John, Ryan, Callum, Emily, Claragh, Ciarán, Liam, Aebhín, Ríonagh and Seán, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

May he rest in peace.

Removal to St.Mel’s Cathedral, Longford on Friday 19th December for prayers at 6.00pm. Following prayers there will be an opportunity to sympathise with the family until 8.30pm. Mass of the Resurrection on Saturday 20th December at 11.00am, interment afterwards in Ballymacormack Cemetery.
