Martin Stokes of 10 Slevin Rise, Margaret St., Kilkenny and formerly of Carlow and Waterford, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on November 24th ,2025 at his home.

Beloved husband of the late Eileen and much loved father of Tommy, Martin, Tina, Paddy, Christy, Jim, Ned and the late Mikey and Margaret.

He will be sadly missed by his loving sons, daughter, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, daughters-in-law, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Carpenter Bros Funeral Home, Shamrock Sq, Carlow (Eircode R93 C863) Carlow from 4pm on Thursday, November 27th, with removal at 6pm to St Clare’s Church, Graiguecullen arriving for Prayers at 6.30pm. Funeral Mass at 12 Noon on Friday followed by funeral to St Otteran’s Cemetery, Waterford arriving for burial at 2.30pm approx.
