Marty John Murray

Marty John Murray, Cornboy, Carratigue, Ballina, Co. Mayo, peacefully, at the Belmullet Community Hospital, in his 93rd year, on 25th April 2022. Predeceased by his daughter Evelyn and Baby son Joseph, parents John and Ellen and brothers John and Anthony. He will be sadly missed and fondly treasured by his loving wife Kathleen, daughters Mary Ann, Teresa, Christina and Rosaleen, sons John Paul, Anthony, Patrick and Finbarr, adored grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sons in law, daughters in law, relatives, kind neighbours and many friends.

Remains reposing at McDonnell’s Funeral Home, Belmullet, on Wednesday evening from 5pm until 7pm. Funeral will arrive at Our Lady, Star of the Sea Church, Cornboy, on Thursday for Funeral Mass at 12 noon, followed by burial in Kilgalligan Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if desired, to the “Belmullet Community Hospital”, c/o McDonnell Funeral Directors, Belmullet.

Live streaming of the Funeral Mass will be available for viewing at 12 noon on Thursday on McDonnell Funeral Directors Facebook page with all other funeral services available for viewing on Thursday evening at 8pm.

In keeping with current advice regarding Covid-19, please wear a mask or face covering and please refrain from handshaking in the funeral home, at the church, during funeral Mass and at the cemetery. The Murray family appreciates your understanding at this difficult time.
