Marty Murphy

The death has occurred of Marty Murphy, Taur Road, Glounakeel, Rockchapel. On August 10th 2024 peacefully, surrounded by his family at Cork University Hospital. Marty beloved husband of Maureen (nee Doody) and dear dad of Gerald, Noreen (Broderick), John Francis and the late Patricia (Pat).

Deeply regretted and will be sadly missed by his wife, son’s, daughter, son in law Charlie, daughters in law Joan and Sinead, grandchildren Mary, Martin, Joanna, Cian, Adam, Caoimhe, Aaron, sisters Sr. Nora, Betty, Bridget, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives , neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Predeceased by his parents Martin and Nora, sisters Kay, Sr. Mary Pat, Sr. Peg and brother Gerald.

Reposing at Allen's Funeral Home, Rockchapel (P51 W891) on this Tuesday evening 13th from 6pm to 8.30pm followed by removal to St Peter's Church, Rockchapel. Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 2pm. Cremation will take place at a later date.
