The death has occurred of
MARY ABERNETHY
(née Walshe)
On 6 October 2021 Mary (née Walshe) passed peacefully in the presence of her loving family and the caring staff at Glendonagh Residential Home. Beloved wife of the late Paddy and much loved mother of Thérèse, dear sister of Teresa and the late Kitty and Billy. Sadly missed by her daughter, Thérèse, sister Teresa (Cupit, USA), son-in-law Ray, grandsons, their partners and her great-grandchildren. Also missed by her sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, neighbours and dear friends.
Mary’s funeral will take place in line with continuing guidance and restrictions as largely a family event.

Funeral venues are currently restricted to a maximum 50% capacity, at the discretion of the venue and within its social distancing requirements. Anyone attending a funeral is required to adhere to continuing guidance regarding social distancing.
Requiem Mass at 2pm on Saturday, October 9th, in the Sacred Heart Church, Mogeely, followed by burial afterwards in All Saints Cemetery, Mogeely.
