The death has occurred of MARY B GARAVAN, Woking, Surrey, UK (and formerly of Carrickeneady, Newport, Co. Mayo) on December 8th, 2025, who passed away peacefully following a short illness. Beloved partner of Tony (Coates), dear daughter of Margaret Garavan, Newport, Mayo and dear twin sister of Rita, London, UK. Sadly missed by her brothers Thomas and PJ, Limerick, Jim and Gerard, Newport, Co Mayo, her aunt Mary, Westport, many cousins and friends. Predeceased by her father Thomas Garavan.
We plan a special ceremony at Burrishoole Abbey, Newport Mayo on February 1st at 12.30 to mark her passing followed by a celebration of her life in Hotel Newport, Co. Mayo.
Flowers are welcome or alternatively a donation to the Irish Cancer Society.
