Mary Barrett
(née Garvey)
BARRETT (Cork) On 8th June 2025, peacefully, surrounded by her loving family and in the tender care of the staff of Cobh Community Hospital, MARY (née Garvey), Chapel Field and late of Glen Ryan Road. Beloved wife of the late Kevin and loving mother of Ger, Linda, Bryan, Kevin, Paul, Stacey and the late Marie and dearest sister of Philomena.
Sadly missed by her loving family, grandchildren Noel, Jason, Kelly, Bryan, Evan, Abbie, Jacob, Caoimhe, great grandchildren Holly, Amy, Charlie, Calum, sons-in-law Charles and Graham, daughter-in-law Susan, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Coughlan’s Funeral Home, Shandon Street on Tuesday (10th June) from 10.00am, family in attendance from 5.00pm with Rosary Prayers at 6.00pm. Requiem Mass on Wednesday (11th June) at 11.00am in the Church of the Ascension, Gurranabraher. If you wish to view the Mass, click on https://www.gurranabraherparish.ie/webcam/ and follow link. Funeral afterwards to St. Michael’s Cemetery, Blackrock. Family flowers only. Donations, in lieu, if desired to Cobh Community Hospital.
