Mary Barrett
(née Abernethy)
BARRETT (Ashboro, Shanakiel, Cork): On October 13th 2023, peacefully in the presence of her family at her home, MARY (née Abernethy), dearly loved wife of the late Mark Joseph and much loved mother of Gerard, Mary (Quirke), Patrick, Áine, Mark and Ailbhe, dear sister of Michael, John and the late Toddy, Paddy, Fr. Billy and Sheila.
Deeply regretted by her loving family, grandchildren, son-in-law Kieran, daughters-in-law Nicola, Joan and Sinead, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and her many friends and carers.
Requiem Mass at 2.00pm on Monday (October 16th) in The Church of the Most Precious Blood, Clogheen which can be viewed on
Funeral afterwards to St. Oliver’s Cemetery, Model Farm Road.
