The death has occurred of
Mary Barrett
(née Gormely)
BARRETT (née Gormely), Mary (Palmerstown, Dublin and formerly of Tubbercurry, Co. Sligo). Passed away peacefully on the 5th of February 2026, surrounded by her loving family, in the wonderful care of the staff in the Maple Ward at Connolly Hospital. Beloved wife of Joseph and much loved mam of Jason, Nigel, Simone, Shauna and Emer. Lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her loving husband, sons, daughters, grandchildren Ciara, Oisín, Sophie, Saoirse, Holly, Rory and Antonio, sons-in-law Robert and Joaquim, daughters-in-law Siobhain and Lisa, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.
May she rest in peace.
Reposing at Cunninghams Funeral Home, Lucan on Sunday afternoon (February 8th) between 2pm and 4pm.
Removal on Monday morning to St. Philomena’s Church, Palmerstown arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am followed by cremation in Newlands Cross Crematorium (due at 1pm).
