MARY (BESSIE) O'REGAN
(née O'SULLIVAN)

On August 29th 2025 Mary passed away unexpectedly but peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, in University Hospital Kerry.

Predeceased by her parents James & Bessie O’Sullivan.

Beloved wife to Barry. Loving mother to Eilish, Angela, Carmel, Deirdre, Sheila and Barry John. Cherished grandmother to Martin, Amy, Dylan, Jack, Padraig, Ollie, Sean, Ciara, Oisín & Malachy. Treasured great grandmother to Cleo Bessie.

Deeply regretted by her sons-in-law and daughter-in-law, extended family and wide circle of friends.

A devoted community member, remembered for her involvement in many local groups and the many ways she gave her time and energy to others. Her kindness, warm smile, infectious laughter, and love of a good chat brought joy to everyone she met.

Her gentle soul will be deeply missed by all who had the blessing of knowing her.

Reposing at Finnegan's Funeral Home, Kenmare on Tuesday (September 2nd) from 5pm to 7pm - followed by removal to St. Michael's Church, Sneem - arriving at 7.45pm approx.

Mary’s Requiem Mass will take place in St. Michael's Church, Sneem on Wednesday (September 3rd) at 11am.

Burial afterwards in Sneem Cemetery.
