On January 20th, 2024, peacefully in the presence of her loved ones at Marymount University Hospital & Hospice, MARY (née O’ Brien),(Cooleclevane, Kilmichael & formerly Tullyland, Bandon) beloved wife of Barry, dear sister of Patricia (Finn) and the late James (O’Brien), loving aunt to Louise and John and much-treasured grandaunt to her dear grandnieces Olivia and Isla. Sadly missed by her loving husband, sister, nephew, niece, nephew-in-law, Glenn, grandnieces, brother-in-law, Noel and sisters-in-law Irene and Helen and their families, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Rest in Peace.

Reposing in Casey’s Funeral Home, Inchigeela on Monday, January 22nd, 2024 from 6.00pm to 8pm followed by Rosary.

Requiem Mass on Tuesday, January 23rd 2024 at 12.00 noon in St Michael’s Church, Coolderrihy.

Funeral afterwards to Terelton Cemetery.

The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff of Marymount University Hospital & Hospice and the West Cork Palliative Care Team who cared for Mary with such compassion, dignity and respect and supported us as a family at the most difficult and heartbreaking of times.
