BYRNE Mary (Late of Glasnevin, Dublin 9, formerly of Wexford Town and retired National Council for Special Education) March 8th 2022. Passed peacefully at her home in the loving care of her family. Beloved wife of Rick and loving mother of Cormac. Sadly missed by Rick’s son Ciarán, her brother Kevin, her sister Ann, brother-in-law Kev, sisters-in-law Bernie and Maeve, nephews Conor and Shane, other relatives, friends and neighbours.

Mary’s cremation service will take place on Saturday afternoon, March 12th, at 2pm at Glasnevin Crematorium Chapel, Glasnevin Cemetery. Please note that the cremation service can be viewed online at https://www.mcnmedia.tv/cameras/glasnevin-cemetery .  Those who wish to, may leave a message of condolence in the Condolences section on this page. No flowers please. Donations in lieu to St. Francis Hospice, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15 or at www.sfh.ie. House private.

At the request of the family, as there are family members who currently have severely weakened immunity due to their ongoing medical treatments, for all those who wish to attend the cremation service, to please take an Antigen Covid-19 test beforehand and to wear face masks at all times. Thank you.
