Mary Byrne

Mary Byrne, late of Kimmage, Dublin, and formerly Mallow, Co Cork, has passed away, peacefully, in the care of St. James Hospital in her 101st year.

Predeceased by her brother George, sister-in-law Josephine, and niece Joanne Byrne.

Mary will be sadly missed and always remembered by her nieces, nephews, and their spouses: Mary, Eileen (Robert), Sheila (Wayne), John (Theresa), and Patrick (Kim).

As well as, grandnieces, grandnephews, great nieces and great nephews, extended family, and a wide circle of friends.

The family appreciates and acknowledges the care and support from dear friends and the staff at Caregivers, Terenure Health Centre, and Applewood Homecare.

Mary donated her body to science through The Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland for medical research.

A memorial mass in celebration of her life will be held at Mount Argus, Harold’s Cross, on 21 November 2025 at 10 am.

May her gentle soul rest in peace.
