The death has occurred of
Mary CARROLL
(née Thornton)
Carroll, Mary (née Thornton), Mt. Merrion, Co. Dublin, December 17, 2021, peacefully, in hospital, after a short illness. Beloved wife of Michael and mother of her adored children, Michele, Colm and Ronan and Granny to her equally adored grandchildren, Dylan, Theo, Hugo, Ben, Mia, Page and Jude. Deeply regretted by her brother, James (in Canada) and his wife, Mary, daughter-in-law, Vivienne, son-in-law, Martin and Martin’s sister, Marian, as well as her brothers-in-law, Gerry and Fergus and sister-in-law, Adrienne. Predeceased by her brother, Jack, sister, Kathleen and cousin, Margo. Mary donated her body to medical science.
A Mass for the repose of her soul will be celebrated early in the new year.
