The death has occurred of Mary Carroll, (nee Martin) (Nee Carty), Stonestown, Delvin, Co. Westmeath and formerly of Athboy and Bohermeen, Co. Meath, on the 27th January 2026, peacefully after a short illness bravely bourne at the Midlands Regional Hospital, Mullingar. Predeceased by her husband Martin, parents James and Sadie, sister Teresa, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. Loving mother of Elma and David.

Mary will be sadly missed by her daughter and son, their dad Jim, sisters Ann and Kathleen, brother Liam, grandchildren Ella, Zoey, Olivia and Grace, daughter-in-law Jodi, son-in-law John, brothers-in-law Paddy and Pat, sister-in-law Rosie, nephews, nieces, extended family, her good friends Hubert, Josephine and Olive, neighbours, her many friends and her little dog Jack.

May Mary's Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.

Reposing at her home on Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 4pm followed by prayers at 7pm. Mary's Funeral Mass takes place in the Church of the Assumption, Delvin on Friday at 12 noon followed by burial in the local cemetery.
