Mary Catherine (Babs) Seery, Edenmore, Ballinamuck, Co.Longford, peacefully in the loving care of the nurses and staff of Cavan General Hospital on 31st January 2026.

Pre-deceased by her parents Pakie and Anna Mae, brothers Jamsie (Australia), Sean (U.K.), Michael (Edenmore) and Tom (Main St., Arva) and by her nephew Sean Jnr.

Babs will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her family, sister Anna Rose (Leeds, U.K.), sister-in-law Margaret, nieces, nephews, relatives, wonderful carers, neighbours and great friends.

May she rest in peace.

Reposing at Glennon’s Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road, Longford (N39 EC81) on Monday 2nd February 2026 from 6.00pm concluding with prayers at 8.00pm. Mass of the Resurrection in St.Colmcille’s Church, Aughnacliffe on Tuesday 3rd February 2026 at 12.00 noon, interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
