The death has occurred of
Mary Christina (Chris) Murphy
MURPHY (Cork) On 3rd September 2025, peacefully, in the exceptional care of the staff of the Mercy University Hospital and in the presence of her loving family, MARY CHRISTINA (CHRIS), Glenthorn and late of Old Boyces Street and Monica John. Beloved daughter of the late Eugene and Sarah Murphy, Old Boyces Street. Loving sister of Sr. Gretta O.L.S.H. and the late Kathleen (Kitty) Browne. Adored aunt of Michael, Sandra (Savage), Gillian (Forde), Mark and Christine (Tobin), dear sister-in-law of Pat Browne.
Sadly missed by her heartbroken sister Gretta, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces EmmaKate, Niamh, David, Daniel, Christine, Eoin, Killian, Stephen, Alex, Matthew, Lily, her great grandnephew Carson, brother-in-law, nephews-in-law, nieces-in-law, her cousins especially The Bermingham’s, Courtney’s, O’Sullivan’s and a wide circle of friends.
Reposing at Coughlan’s Funeral Home, Shandon Street on Friday (5th September) at 10.00am, family in attendance from 4.30pm with Rosary Prayers at 5.30pm.
