Mary Creedon
(née O'Connell)
CREEDON, Mary (née O'Connell) – late of Glasheen Road, Cork and Vancouver, B.C. Canada. Mary passed away peacefully on April 24, 2025, at North Shore Hospice. Beloved wife of Kerry. Profoundly loving mother of Sarah (Gord), Morna (Michael), and Kate (Matt). Utterly adoring grandmother of Deirdre, Tessa, Ronan, and Claire. Dearly loved sister of Geraldine (Crowley), Conor, and Declan. Remembered with affection by her brothers and sisters in law, nieces and nephews, and cousins. Predeceased by her parents, Denis and Eileen; her sister, Lall (Eileen McCarthy); and her brother, Kieran.
Mary was loved and will be deeply missed by her family and by her countless friends. A funeral service was held at Saint Anthony's Church in West Vancouver on Thursday, May 1. In lieu of flowers, the family would be grateful for donations to the Saint Anthony’s School Inclusive Playground project at www.sasplayground.ca.
