It is with broken hearts that we share the news of the sudden and unexpected passing of Mary Cunningham of Fána Buí, Ballymoneen Road and Dangan House, Galway, on August 20, 2025.

Predeceased by her mother Madeleine and her father Paddy. Mary was the cherished mother of Sarah, Sean and Paddy and a loving sister to David, Michael, Paddy and Peter. She will be sadly missed and forever remembered also by her nieces, nephews, cousins and her many friends in Ireland, France, Finland and Sweden, who were dear to her heart.

Reposing at the O' Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue (H91 V1K8) from 4.00 p.m. to 6.00 p.m.

 

Monday, August 25, 2025

Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Mary at Galway Cathedral on arrival at 12 noon. Live streaming link for Mass below. There will be a reception at Dangan House Tearooms afterwards.

Cremation will take place on Tuesday, with family in attendance.

Parking and entrance to the funeral parlour : Please approach the funeral parlour on foot from Fr. Burke Park. There is a Pedestrian Zone on Upper Dominick Street and William Street West and these streets will be closed from 3.00 p.m. on Sunday.
