Mary Curry (nee Devine),

formerly Lisgoold, Co Cork.

Passed away peacefully on February 22nd 2026 surrounded by her loving family while in the tender loving care of the nurses and staff of Abbeylands Nursing Home Kildorrery.

Loving wife of the late Michael and sister of the late Johnny and Donal.

Mary will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her loving family, her son Jeremiah, her daughters Margaret and Veronica, daughter-in-law Catherine, sons-in-law Liam and Noel, grandchildren; Shane, Emma, Sandra, Jamie, Darragh, Killian, Sarah and Rebecca, great grandchildren Tyler, Kyah, Alanna, Corey and Bobby, sister Peggy, brothers Patrick and his partner and David, sisters-in-law Nellie and Nora, brothers-in-law Bill-Joe and Thomas, nieces, nephews, relatives, kind neighbours and friends.

On Sunday evening, February 22nd, Rosary will take place for Mary at 8pm in Abbeylands Nursing Home Kildorrery.

Mary will repose in Hannon's Funeral Home Doneraile on Monday evening from 6pm to 7.30pm followed by prayers.

Reception into Christ the King Church Shanballymore on Tuesday, February 24th for Requiem Mass at 2pm.

Burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

The Curry family would like to extend a word of thanks to all those that supported Mary in her life with her medical needs.

Dr Jennings and the doctors, nurses and staff of Mallow General Hospital, her GP, Dr Huisman, who cared for Mary when she lived at home in Shanballymore.

Finally they would like to extend a very special word of thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff of Abbeylands Nursing Home who provided such great care and comfort to Mary in the final years of her life.
