Mary Daly
(née O'Connor)

Daly (née O’Connor) Mary, 6th November 2024, (late of Downpatrick Road, Crumlin and formerly of Cork City); Peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of Larry, much loved mam of Margaret and Dee, loving sister of Patsy, wonderful nana to Ciara, Niamh, Aoife, Sarah, Seán, Kate and Rónán and great nana to Tola, Isla, Yara, Freddie and Hannah. Predeceased by her Mam and Dad and brothers Tommy and Buddy.

 

Mary will be forever loved and sadly missed by her heartbroken family, sons-in-law Niall and Michael, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

 

Mary’s family wish to express a heartfelt thank you to Home Givers Ireland, Our Lady’s Hospice in Harolds Cross and Wicklow, and all of those who cared for her throughout her illness, especially her carer Lisa who went above and beyond, who Mary thought of as another daughter.

 

May she rest in peace.

 

Reposing at the Brian McElroy Funeral Home, Crumlin Village on Sunday from 2pm to 4pm. Funeral mass on Monday at 12.30pm in Church of St. Jude the Apostle, Willington followed by Cremation in the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium at 2.30pm.
