Mary Davis (née Cavanagh) Drumcliffe, Co. Sligo and formerly Farnaharpy, Skreen, Co. Sligo – February 28, 2026, It is with great sadness that Mary in her 90th year passed away peacefully at Sligo University Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her beloved husband Henry (5th June 1987). She will be lovingly remembered by her children Mary (Joe), Kieran (Carol), Damian (Angela), Jacqui (Eddie) and Henry, her adored grandchildren Eoghan, Emmet, Dervla, Emily, Odhrán, Aife, Rachel, Thomas, Holly and her four great grandchildren. Mary will be sadly missed by her sister-in-law, nephews, nieces and by her many friends, staff and customers over her 55 years in The Yeats Tavern.

Reposing at her home in Drumcliffe (F91E5R9 access via Yeats Tavern car park) from 2pm to 6pm on Sunday the 1st of March and from 2pm to 6pm on Monday the 2nd March. Removal to St Colmcille’s Church, Rathcormac on Tuesday morning to arrive for Mass of the Resurrection at 11.30am. Burial afterwards in Drumcliffe cemetery. House private outside of reposing times please. Anyone wishing to offer their sympathies can do so on the condolence section below.
