On October 27th 2024, after a long illness borne with courage, Mary passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, in the tender care of the Doctors, Nurses and staff at the Palliative Care Unit in University Hospital Kerry. Predeceased by her father Arthur and her brother Charles. Loving wife and best friend of Joe and adored mother of Arthur, Conor, Rory and Andrew. Beloved daughter of Peggy and dear sister of Geraldine, (Devilly, Bective, Navan), Eileen (Harte, Timoleague), Finola (Kinsella, Perrystown, Dublin) and Rosarie (Gault, Timoleague) Deeply regretted by her heartbroken family, brothers-in-law Liam, Martin, Chris, David and Paul, sisters-in-law Mary and Ann Marie, Conor’s partner Niamh, goddaughter Karen Harte, aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, relatives and a wide circle of friends.

Rest in Peace

Reposing at her home in Ashgrove, Kenmare (V93C9N3) on Monday (October 28th) from 5pm to 7pm. Reposing at her former home, Sackville St. Dunmanway on Tuesday (October 29th) from 6.30pm to 8.30pm. Requiem Mass in St. Patrick’s Church, Dunmanway on Wednesday (October 30th) at 1pm – followed by Private Family Cremation at The Island Crematorium, Rocky Island, Ringaskiddy, Cork.
