The death has occurred of
MARY DUFFY
(née FOX)
DUFFY (nee Fox) Mary. Knockroe, Attymon, Athenry, Co. Galway and late of Ballinacregg, Carnmore. Retired nurse, Merlin Park Hospital. Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on the 11th of October 2021. Predeceased by her beloved husband Larry, parents John & Katie Fox, sister Sr. Bernadette (Bridgie), brothers Jodie, Tommie, Paddy, Eddie & Mattie and by her son-in-law Emmet.
Mary will forever be in the hearts of her loving family. Cherished and much loved mother of Marguerite (Kilfeather), Hubert, Cathal, Bernie, Annemarie, and Caitriona. Fondly remembered by her sons-in-law Dermot, Des and Ed, daughters-in-law Fidelma & Bridie and by her adored grandchildren Gavin, Aidan, Alex, Andre, Barry, Sarah, Leo, Alice, Yvana, George and Katie Marie. Sadly missed by her sister Sr. Anne Fox (Presentation Sisters Galway), brother Br. Michael (Gregory) Fox (Patrician Brothers, Kingston, Galway) sisters in-law , nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, cousins, relatives, great neighbours and many friends.

The funeral will take place in line with current government guidelines and restrictions to help prevent the spread of Covid-19.
Mary will repose at Quinn’s Funeral Home Caheroyan, Athenry on Wednesday October 13th from 5pm until 7pm. Please wear a facemask if attending and adhere to current guidelines. Funeral cortege will leave her home on Thursday October 14th at 12 noon to arrive at St. Iomar’s Church Killimordaly for Requiem Mass at 12.30. Mary will then be laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery, alongside her beloved Larry. Flowers are welcome as Mary loved flowers.
