DURKIN - (née McDonnell), Mary.
(Glosh, Carracastle, Co. Mayo and late of Palmfield, Carracastle). January 20th, 2026 - (peacefully) in her 96th year in the tender loving care of her family.
Predeceased by her husband Martin, brothers Haulie and Patrick, son-in-law Johnny and her parents Nora and Anthony. She will be fondly remembered and always loved by her heartbroken family, her children Patrick, Martina, Anthony and Bernadine, her daughters-in-law Marie and Marie, son-in-law Joe, grandchildren Aoife, Gareth, Diarmuid, Bryan, Conor, Tara, Fintan and Ronan, her great-grandson Páudíe, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and a large circle of friends.
May She Rest In Peace
Mary will lie in repose in The Kilgarriff Funeral Home, Ballaghaderreen, Thursday evening from 6:30 o'c to conclude with evening prayer at 8 o'clock. Removal from her daughter Bernadine's home Friday at 12 noon to arrive to St James' Church, Carracastle for Mass of the Resurrection Friday at 1pm.
Burial afterwards in Carracastle Cemetery.
